 My son has drawn up the following list. He is very concerned with his fellow people who have special needs, disabilities or illness. This list only contains the healthcare institutions that have been in the news or research programs in recent years, to illustrate that it is not incidental and that the system mediates. Keep in mind that if you live outside a care institution and this happens to you, the perpetrator will receive a prison sentence and more often than not will be immediately taken into custody pending their trial. This is not the case for victims of violence in healthcare. They have to wait until all kinds of procedures have been completed while the mistreatment and abuse continues and the perpetrators usually receive no punishment and at most lose their job or department.   Het volgende lijst heeft mijn zoon opgesteld. Hij houd zich heel erg veel bezig met zijn mede mensen die bijzondere bijnodigdheden, beperking of ziekte hebben. Deze lijst met enkel de zorginstellingen die in het nieuws of onderzoek programma's zijn geweest de afgelopen jaren, om te illustreren dat het niet incidenteel is en dat het systeem bemiddeld. Hou rekening ermee dat u wanneer u buiten een zorginstelling woont, en u dit overkomt, de dader een gevangenis straf krijgt en vaker dan niet direct in bewaarstelling wordt genomen in afwachting van hun proces. Dit is voor slachtoffers van geweld in de zorg niet het geval. Zij moeten totdat er allerlei procedures zijn geweest wachten terwijl de mishandeling en misbruik doorgaat en de daders krijgen meestal geen straf en verliezen hooguit hun baan of afdeling.
